VFD keypad problem

I have a 15H series baldor drive that has a touch screen that isn't working. The back light is on but no lcd is displayed. The drive is controlled remotely and is still working. I swapped the keypad out with the drive next to it and the problem stayed with the drive. I have no idea how long it's been like this but I just noticed tonight and was wondering if anyone's seen this issue before.

Does the drive have a built in low voltage power supply that may be going out?

If the keypad is connected by a ribbon cable I would also replace the cable.

That's a common issue, but it could be the connector on the board too. Pull the connection off and look for bent pins.

Good point, also look for corrosion on plug and socket that can be cleaned with contact cleaner and a small needle.
