Just curious to all of the motor drive members of the forum , in discussions around the ground bearing failure I have seen the ground brush “ring” and this was recently brought to my attention just curious if anyone has any experience with the manufacture and their products?

No experience with that mfr, but the concept of a ferrite core on the conductors as a way to reduce common mode noise is not new. Some drive mfrs even build them into the drives. The concept HELPS, but is not 100% effective in all circumstances.

They make a statement regarding the routine maintenance of grounding rings as being a big problem, but you have to understand that they are designed to last as long as the bearings, so you replace them together. That right there is a little disingenuous and the fact that they invented a terminology ("inductive absorbers"???) instead of just telling you it's a ferrite core makes me cringe. Smells of snake oil, even though I know the concept is valid to a certain extent.
