Guys - I'm having a customer (homeowner) use a meter from Extech (CT70) to test their outlets and the testing meter is showing voltage drops greater than 5%. The electrician who wired the home has wired 10+ homes for me over the years and never any issues. I've taken this meter to other homes and find the same voltage drop issues in outlets - greater than 5%.
Does anyone have any recommendations on how to handle this? I'm open for anything!!
The electrician used 12 gauge wire for 20 amp circuits and 14 gauge wire for 15 amp circuits.
