Voltage Drop Calcs For 5KV cable vs. 600V cable

We need to calculate the voltage drop of a ~2000 ft run of 5KV #8 airfield cable.Can you apply the same formula
used for 600V cable for this 5KV cable (i.e do both type cables have the same Xsec area/Ohm's per1000 ft., etc.)?

#8 is #8 as far as resistance goes. I do airports all the time and grab the R from Ugly's. To be accurate, you need to also calculate X but for an airport system, with single cables on opposite sides of the runway, I am not sure it is meaningful. The reactance of the isolation transformers dominates.
