Is your voltage drop calculator for AC power? It doesn't consider reactance. Why? It's my understanding that resistance only is for DC calculations.

Perhaps becuase it is close enough. Most calculations will be accurate enough using the conductor proerties found in Table 8 of the NEC. If you really want to get spot on with the calculation, just use Table 9 instead...

Bphgravity, I agree. I recently had a case where the numbers were tight due to existing conditions and the difference between calculations had significant impact due to these conditions. Thanks for your feedback.
