Voltage Drop Chapter 9 Tables

Can someone please confirm the difference between Chapter 9 Table 8 and 9.

My understanding is I should use:
Table 8 to obtain resistance values for direct current and single phase alternating circuits and
Table 9 for 3 phase alternating current

You are correct except neither table is specifically for 1?, which will likely have some reactance.
