I have been using the single phase voltage drop formula for years it seems, but every time I can never remember the 3 phase formula. Can you help me? I also use 12.9 as 'K' for copper, but what do I use for aluminum?
Please help

Better yet, go to the "Free Stuff" on this site and download the Xcel spreadsheet that does all of this math for you. Basically, to use the VD formula you are using for single phase on a 3-phase application, just ad "x 1.732" to the voltage. The K factor for aluminum is 24.
