Need a hand figuring a wire size for a sub panel. I have got an underground run that is approx. 285'. What I have is a combination of loads both 120 and 240V single phase. I've got (1) pump at 4.8A 230V, (1) pump at 3.2A 120V (2) UV filters at 1.0A ea (1) lighting xfmr at 550W 120V and (3) circulating pumps at 1.2A ea 120V. I would like to use up some 10/3 UF (CU) that I have got several hundred feet of but my calc shows #8(CU). All equipment will be running at the same time, approx.8 hrs per night. Looked at AL and that put me at #6. I am coming up with around 17A of load. Thanks Much.
