Can anyone tell me where in the code, what the limit of voltage drop is.....I found for sensitive equipment it is 1.5% how about nonsensitive equipment.

Re: Voltage Drop

Voltage drops listed in FPN #4 are not required, but are generally a good design guideline.

Re: Voltage Drop

There is no limit. The Fine Print Note (FPN) mentioned above, and one like it in 215.2(A)(4), suggest that keeping the voltage drop to below 3% for feeders and below 5% for the combination of feeder plus branch circuit will ?provide reasonable efficiency of operation.? But a FPN is not an enforceable code requirement.
