I am in the stages of planning of a new home I was hired to do, 1944sf house with finished basement, three car garage, dryer and well are the only 240 loads. Meter is on property on pole shed. Where I am putting a 200 amp panel is 360 foot from the meter. I am putting a generator with a ATS at about 260 foot from the meter and then going to house.
I am thinking about running 2 sets of 4/0 in parallel to the ATS and one set to the house from there. Is this thinking overkill? What would y’all do? The longest run I have done is 150 foot
