Voltage Drop

How can I explain to someone that voltage drop would be less on a MWBC vs a single circuit? I've tried to no avail!

What do you mean by single circuit? Do you mean (2) individual 2 wire circuits vs (1) 3 wire MWBC?

Think of two people carrying buckets of water up a hill:
Two separate circuits = each person carries a full bucket = twice the weight = more energy lost (voltage drop).
MWBC = they carry a yoke with buckets that balance each other
the yoke carries the difference in weight, not the sum
less strain
less energy spent
