Wait time on your Master Electrician license

Hello. New member here although I frequently read the forums here.

I just took my ICC masters exam and passed (second time around I'll admit). I then submitted my application to the city of pittsburgh for their Electrical license.

Just was curious if anyone who lived near by pittsburgh would possibly be able to chime in on how long it took for the city to issue the license after you submitted your app.

I know their office is closed due to covid, but they are still processing applications and such through the online portal (which is what I used).
 
Thanks lol. Been working independently as a residential/commercial Electrical contractor for a handful of years now. Just finally convinced myself to take the steps for the city of pittsburgh masters license just because it's the closest to where I'm located and would allow me to work within city limits (not a bunch of work comes my way from the city, but I'm figuring it may open up some new opportunities).

Now that I've passed the exam I'm just anxious to get the license lol. Hoping it doesn't take too long for them to issue it, just not to sure with the covid stuff. I don't know how long it usually takes but with them only accepting online applications at this point, I wasn't sure what to expect.
 
Surprisingly not lol. My guess is nothing processed over labor day weekend. I'm sure they'll be taking the money today though lol.
 
Eddie702, I made an account just to ask a question in regards to your remark. I'm currently a Trainee in Northern California. I've accumulated my 4,800 hours and have successfully sent in my application in the beginning of March. That Said, my application check was cashed April 1st 2021... You see where I'm going with this. It's been several months since I've sent it in and my check has been cashed. I haven't received any notification that PSI is aware of my application. Is this a common thing? My employer is becoming concerned, as am I. Any bit of info helps, thanks!
