walk-in closet

I am doing a remodel job the customer is having a walk-in closet installed in the m.b. the closet is 10'x 12' with a 2-6 door. the customer dosent want any recpt. in the closet because they are doing floor to celing shelving and rods. do you think i can get by without recpt. or am i bound by 210.52 (a)(1) to put them in?

Look at the first part of 210.52(A). It specifies the rooms that the section applies to. Closet is not on the list.
