Wall sconce with battery backup?

I must be looking in the wrong places or not searching for the right thing-

Need to replace a generic interior wall sconce (could call it a "jelly jar" sconce) with something that's constantly lit and has battery backup- like an exit sign but to illuminate the bottom of a stairway. The usual e-lights only come on at power fail, this needs to be on all the time. (The existing sconce takes a Edison-base lamp and is wired to the exit light circuit. Somebody broke the jar and it really ought to have backup, so I'm looking for an all-in-one replacement.)

Does this critter even exist?

There are all kinds of wall sconces with battery backups included. Depends what style you are looking for. Also you could use a single unit lighting inverter which will provide battery backup to a fixture without the battery integral to the fixture.
