iwire Moderator Staff member Location Massachusetts May 17, 2007 #2 If the circuits are on 20 amp breakers and the circuits only supply a single receptacle they would have to be 20 amp rated single receptacles. However if you use a duplex receptacle you can use 15 amp rated duplexs.
