Hey Everybody,

My husband, brother, and brother-in-law are all preparing to take the Washington DC Masters Exam. From what we hear, it's a bear of a test.

Can anybody recommend some good tips and resources to help them pass the exam? They all 3 already have their Maryland Masters License, but Maryland doesn't have reciprocity with DC.

Also, we're having such a hard time trying to find a Masters Prep Course in the MD/DC area. Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance,
Pam

I would take a look at the rest of MIKE HOLT'S web site. He is a very gifted instructor and has a wide variety of educational tools.

I can speek from personal experience with the UNEC series, GVB, and EXAM PREP.

hope this helps ,(it sure helped me)

Pam:

I've had my DC masters so long I cannot offer much help, BUT when I took the test there were a fair amount of questions revolving around the DC code, all the calculations were NEC.

I felt the Maryland Test was harder than the DC test.

When I took the test the general rule was few electricians ever passed first go around.
