I currently hold a Alaska Journeymans License and am about to relocate to Washington. I was looking for direction or info on obtaining a reciprocal license for the state of Washington.

Thanks for the help/comments

Is that just electrical license reciprocation? I'm working in Florida now, originally from Wa, and was wondering if any of my hours can transfer. I read some stuff in the WAC rules on the L&I link but I still don't understand.:-?

Sean,

According to Mike's website, Florida reciprocates with Alabama, Georgia and North Carolina. Any questions you have I would direct to:

State Board: Electrical Contractors Licensing Board
Department of Business & Professional Regulation
1940 North Monroe Street
Tallahassee, FL 32399-0771
(850) 487-1395 Fax: (850) 922-2918

ugminer,

You're over-stressing on this, Shadowolf has you covered in her post, check the signature ... doesn't get any better than that. Ilene can answer any question you might have.

Rocky,

I'm not stressed, just looking for feedback from the knowledgable people on this forum.

I called and talked to Ilene the day she posted. I have talked to her before on other matters and yes, she and everyone else with Mike's organization are very knowledgable and helpful.

Thanks for the response.

Are you working in Nevada and getting licensed in WA?

I work for Greens Creek, out side of Juneau on Admiralty Island.
I have worked for a couple of different mines in Nevada.

Do you work in the mining industry?
