I have a building with all plastic water lines except about 6 inches of 1-1/4 metal pipe from the street where the main shut off valve is. I have the gas piping system already bonded. Can I run a jumper to the water main from the gas line or does it need a separate bond wire from the main service?

If all you have is a 6" section of metal water pipe then this section doesn't need to be bonded as it isn't a "piping system" just a short section of pipe.

6 inches of 1-1/4 metal pipe from the street where the main shut off valve is.

Is this section of water pipe that is run underground to the street at least 10 feet long?

If it is, it would constitute a grounding electrode and would need to be used as such.(See 250.50) If you use it as a grounding electrode you must run a either a bonding jumper from another electrode to this or run a GEC from the service to the water pipe. You can run a bonding jumper from the water pipe to the gas pipe but not from the gas pipe to the water pipe.
