What got wet and how? What type of wiring? What type of building and construction?

T&M is the only way I would do it.

That is what I was thinking Dennis. It is a house and a pipe broke in the ceiling and got the whole first floor flooded with an inch of water on the floor. They want the whole floor re wired.

Who has the check book ? Home owner or insurance company ? Do the work that they are willing to pay for.

An inch of water on the floor & they want the whole floor rewired, why ? Yes replace wiring that is in the vicinity of the leak, but

wiring for recptacles, fixtures & switches that didn't get wet no. Is sheet rock on or off the walls?
