Water pipes shake, rattle, roll, vibrate, expand, contract, and hammer. This movement is not good for electrical conduit and the wiring inside.
A trade practice is to separate the supports of the two systems. Electrical systems should be isolated from any vibrating or movement.
Most job specs will spell this out.

While it may not be against the NEC, depending on what kind of conduit that is being used, or the AHJ interpretation of the code, you should use a little common sense. Water and electricity don't mix well, the further the apart the better.
I was pretty certain that I had read a code reference that specified electrical systems and components were to be seperated from other systems and components, although at this time I was unable to find that reference. If I do ever find it I would be happy to come back and give you a ring on the reference.

Joe, you may be thinking about 310.8 which pertains to "with in" the raceway or tray.
Back to Bennies point, I was shown by a pipe fitter how 2" steam lines actualy walked over 3.5" in a roller hanger.
He marked the pipe on both sides of the hanger with soap stone, and we used those marks for reference through out a period of a few days.
With this much travel (even far less) something will have to give.
