If all the residence is in copper water lines and it has a electric water heater why dont you bond the water line when the feed into the house is plastic?

The water lines get bonded whether or not the feed into the house is plastic or metal. BONDED to clear any fault that might occur, or Its used as a grounding electrode if the feed is metal.

If the supply to the building is plastic, and the inside piping is copper, you will reference 250.104(A)(1).

That is what I thought, and had been doing. worked in different county and the inspector told me it could create transiant voltages????
