Weatherproof bubble cover.

A customer has a two gang weather proof bubble cover. The plug in for her spa is too long to fit the cover. And there is no way to relocate to a damp location. Are there options of bubble covers to accommodate for this.

If it is one of those spas that has a GFI cord cap I had a similar problem once and I cut out the bottom of the part of a plastic bubble cover, the part that looks like a space helmet, and it was able to fit over the cord cap.

That is what I have used. Once I had to install a large pvc box and install the receptacle inside the box.

Does anyone make outdoor receptacle boxes where the receptacle faces down?

The generator power inlet on my home uses this configuration, at it seems to make more sense than having the inlet facing outward and then require a bubble cover over a large cord and cap.

Probably not. Those male angle plugs are large and extend down quite a bite. A straight male cord cap would definitely not fit. I am assuming 50 amp tubs

It’s a single pole twenty amp. But the plug in has push buttons that make it too big for a bubble cover
