FYI there are many mogul base HID lamps in use, this webinar covers the retrofits of them with LED
Please join the Washington State University Energy Program on Thursday, September 24, 2015 at 12:00 PM Pacific Time for a webinar titled "Mogul Base LED Lamps for Retrofits" as part of Bonneville Power Administration's Emerging Technologies Showcase series.

High intensity discharge (HID) light bulbs or “lamps”, with a large screw-in “mogul” base socket, are used in various commercial lighting applications including roadways, parking lots, building exteriors, and high bay interiors. While HID lamps comprise 2% of all installed lamps in the U.S., they account for 26% of the nation’s lighting energy use. Retrofitting with LED replacement lamps is an opportunity for strategic energy savings. This webinar describes performance and safety tests of a selection of mogul base LED replacement lamps for energy efficient retrofits. While the DesignLights Consortium (DLC) does not yet have categories for LED replacement lamps, DLC’s criteria were used to determine lamp efficacy and application.
A question and answer session follows the presentation.
Sponsored by the Bonneville Power Administration (BPA) with support from Western Area Power Administration (WAPA), these monthly webinars bring you the latest information about some of the promising energy efficiency technologies and practices that BPA is considering for future research opportunities or focus areas.
All webinars are recorded and available on the E3T website, www.E3TNW.org and Conduit, www.ConduitNW.org
