im sure its the same here but for questions that take more time like the calculations and im running low on time i was wondering if "ok i skip this one and answer the next 3 in the same time" it wouldnt hurt me but if theyre weighted its a whole different ballgame

Time Management!!!

In the past 3 years I have taken and passed the Westchester, New York City and New Jersey license exams. Each exam has a different format, but the most important thing is time management.

The best way to achieve this, in my opinion is to leave the load calculations to the very end. You can spend 20 minutes on a question that give you the same 1 point as a 'what color must the grounded conductor be?' question.

test taking skills are almost as important as getting the right answers on these kind of tests.

if each question is worth the same amount of points, my suggestion is answer the easiest and fastest ones first, then go back to the ones that require thought or calculation, or code lookup.
