A TIG welder is an arc welder, so the table in 630.11

If duty cycle is 100% then there is no reduction in conductor ampacity allowed.

Insufficient question for an answer. What brand and exact model? Few welders are 100% at max or even "rated output." You received no instructions or manual with the machine? FWIW, I'm a welder and active on Miller and Hobart sites answering welding machine electrical questions regularly.

What other table than the one I mentioned would apply? It is either an arc welder or a resistance welder isn't it?

If duty cycle is 100% then the multiplier is 1.0

The table for resistance welders doesn't even go to 100%

You're right. I'm used to going all the way. And like you say, it doesn't really apply at 100%, but I know enough about welding machines and typical people asking about them to also know there is a high likelihood the question was wrong.
