Welding cable tray on floating floor?

Switchboard?

In general, you could to weld supports to the metal floor but bolt the tray to those (kind of looks like that in the drawing, but needs to be clarified). With metal floors being uncommon, there probably isn't a standard except for shipboard or aircraft use.

I want to ask about this case:
An engine control room or SWB room with raised and floating floor like this, a steel plate with insulation underneath, should it be able to weld the cable tray on the top of floating floor? and any standard refer to this?

The floor grid post's themselves are likely welded as well. They are at my plant, although it's plate over concrete.

What's the issue if it's already speced' out in your plans?

Yes, it's switchboard room and engine control room onboard ship with fire insulation.

Although it was specified in the plan, I just want to make sure that it complies with international standards.
