You can purchase a 1” pitless adapter that has a tapped 1/4” hole for a pressure switch/transducer. For a 1 1/4” or larger pitless, I drill and tap them myself.

i drill a hole n the well casing just under the well cap big enough for a 1/2” terminal adapter, then run a 2nd conduit for the transducer wire, so it’s not in the same conduit as the power carrying conductors.

I’ve never used one, but Baker makes a kit to mount the pressure switch inside the well. You can use a glycol solution in control tubing if you are concerned about the switch freezing.

When I said freezing a few posts back I meant the main water supply line leaves the pitless adapter at 5 or 6 feet deep so it doesn't freeze.

The control tubing to pressure switch should only have air pressure on it, if it fills with water you have a leak in the control tubing.
