Could not get a rodder through 200' of 6" duct with 5 #8s and a bare #6. Would not pull either way with 3 guys on it. Broke an 1800lb. mule tape tied to the trailer hitch.

That looks like the root wad that came out when I replaced my sewer line! But seriously, who leaves a mess like that in a conduit?!?:rant:
 
I can almost here the echos of what happened that day;

"Hey boss, I can't get a wire through here."
"Try again."
"Nope, that one didn't go through either."
"Try again."
Repeat 12 times before they give up and use a different route, boss not realizing his apprentice was abandoning all of the previous attempts in place.
 
I used to pull a lot of cable for the Telco companies and we'd find all sorts blockages but that one is a real "rats nest". I always loved the guys who would seal the dedicated conduits with expanding foam and not use any backing.:dunce:
