Anyone know anything about this? They do it each year at a different location (last year was Medford, OR; the year before was Anchorage, this year is Salt Lake City) but the top first-year journeyman from various IBEW locals across the Western U.S. compete in a contest. Events include written test, motor control, residential wiring, conduit bending, material identification, etc.
Just curious because our apprenticeship is sending me to SLC to compete and I'm wondering if there's anyone here I'll be competing against :roll: The contest is next Saturday the 19th.
