New here. hope I'm doing this right.
anyway, trying to verify that the code actually REQUIRES that the bonding jumper that goes to the wet niche of a pool be a GREEN conductor.
I know this seems obvious, but this is not an equipment bonding jumper as I understand it. ( equipment meaniing electrical panels and such). It is also not a grounding conductor. it is simply a conductor tying 2 metal parts together.
not an equipment bond, not a grounding conductor. If not one of those two, should it even be allowed to be green? Maybe I'm just fighting a biased argument here and trying to save myself the hassle of constantly stocking green wire.
Thanks

Wet niche to pool steel can be green or bare. Wet niche to light j-box must be insulated in concuit.

niche bond

niche bond

Thanks for the replies. My main question is does it HAVE to be green.
Meaning the bond wire in the nonmetallic conduit going to the niche.
