Wet rated cable inside a bldg

Maybe. Depends of what type of insulation the cable has.

Examples:

UF-yes

THWN-yes

USE-no

USE/RHW-yes

URD-no.

What cable are you using and where?

And why is this question in hazardous locations? Need more info/details to answer correctly.

Looking at it another way, the fact that it is wet rated does not by itself prevent it from being used in a dry area outdoors. But there are separate properties, like flame spread, that may prevent it from being used indoors, whether the indoor area is wet or dry. :)
