What about the Index?

Instead of it saying "see Blah blah blah" I wish it would say the names like it does but then put the code by it. Instead of searching. The weird thing is though it says right under the index (at least in the 02 edition, I don't have my 05 on me) The copyright in this index is separate and distinct from the copyright in the document which it indexes. The licensing provisions set forth for the document are not applicable to this index. This index my not be reproduced in whole or part by any means without the express written permission of NFPA. I don't have any idea how to submit it?

Also I would like an alphabetical abbreviations list. Like NM = Non-Metallic. EMT - Electric Metal Tubbing etc.

This may not need to a code proposal, its just a useability issue. I note lots of little useablilty changes. The 2002 NEC had bigger gray boxes around the article titles.
And if I recall the index was not included in the electronic version of the NEC.
I'd write a letter to the NFPA Electrical Section.
