What are my options?

Here is my current setup.
-100 amp panel in the house without any more open spots.
-Weatherhead is only about 7 feet off the ground and no longer up to code obviously.

We are probably going to add on to our house next year with a large amount and will put a separate 100 amp panel in the basement of the new addition. I do not want to modify my current panel because I wanted to keep it small as possible as it will be in our expanded kitchen.

We want to get a hot tub this year and obviously don’t have many options that make sense right.

The best option I can think of is adding a new meter box with a disconnect outside(and and extending mast and weatherhead to get up to code. This would mean I keep everything inside the same right now but I could run my hot tub on a separate 50 amp breaker in the new disconnect? Correct?
Are there any other options that seem doable. I know it would make most sense to just wait for the hot tub until the new service next year but my wife is determined.
