I have a multi tool by kline. I use that to crimp fork terminals, butt splices. But I don't think its for crimping ground selves. Is there a crimper that crimps all of these? That way I don't have to carry two tools. Thank you.

For grounding barrel crimps you need to consider what brand you are crimping. Buchannon specifies a 4 point crimping device be used with the barrels they produce. T+B specifies a few two point crimpers for the barrel crimp tubes they produce. I use the T+B brand. I am seasoned enough to remember when we did not always have to use a mechanical on the end of the twisted together grounds, and properly twisted they stayed together nice and tight. That is the reason I do not worry so much about using greenies like some here who only have experience since the great ground termination debacle code change came along....;) If you feel that you cannot properly twist some conductors together for a few inches and keep it tight, use the greenies, they are fool proof.

While it's true that you can twist the grounds together tightly, that won't keep the cut ends from poking out when you fold the grounds back into the box. The wirenut will keep them from piercing the insulation on any of the other conductors.

That never happened to me. Seriously. I think mashing a green into a box could do damage to conductor insulation as well if we are going to imagine such things.

The Klein crimp is not really suitable for crimping any terminal as it is not a tool that is specified by the manufacturer of the terminal as required by the information in the UL White Book. (yes, I know that this is not what happens in the field, and I am not aware of any issues caused by the use of generic crimp tools for small terminations)

This debate probably can go on all day - Listed crimper of generic crimper for small terminations.

I would simply say, try to stay with one brand crimping device and the assortment of crimps that are installed with that brand.
(you asked) ;)

Otherwise, one will do as one pleases. :D
