Isn't this a military academy?

At one point in my life I wanted to go to West Point, and I didnt have the grades, among other shortcomings :) I was told that there was a list of schools that I could go to for a couple of years that would help get me into West Point, and I think that this was one of them.

If I remember right, this school had some controversies about allowing a female cadet to attend. This seems to have been around 1994 though.

Yes this is a military academy, But they also let civilians attend in the evenings and weekends for the BSEE degree. They have a community college that they are working with so the credits will transfer. 2 years at the community then all your credits transfer to this school.

If its a credited EE school why not attend if its in your area, It's your credentials that count I don't know of job interveiws that ask what your GPA was, only that you have the paper in your possession (diploma)
 
I thought devry was a good school, I guess it is. I think if I spend the time and money It will be worth going for the EE. I'm actually looking to move either to the Charleston, SC area or the Dallas, TX area. I like SC a little bit more. they have a good program that helps guys like me.

It's ABET-accredited, so I think that keeps it off the 'trashy' list. Sure, it's probably not in the same league as MIT, but you can probably get a decent EE education there.

I'm sure he did. Department heads don't usually say their program sucks. :D
