In section 392.80, subsections a) and b) mention that they apply to single-conductor cables.... For arrangements without separation between cables.

And in point c) and d) for bed arrangement with separation and clover it mentions single conductors.

My question is, do points a) and b) apply only to individual cables, for example MC but with a single conductor inside, and c and d) to individual conductors such as THHW and THHN with TC-SR marking?

Thanks for the support

I think you have it right.

Engineer Charlie When you do the calculations as you consider them, it is that I applied sections a, b, c and d to cables with THHW insulation but an engineer in Mexico made that observation to me, but I don't know if we are misinterpreting the NEC.

Can you give me your opinion please, I appreciate it.
