What is the required clearance of a Utility Transformer

I am working on an EV Charging installation project in Chattanooga, TN at an apartment complex. We are pulling from a 120/240 utility transformer that sits about 10' from where we plan to install our first pedestal. Ive been told that we need to be outside of a 10' clearance of the transformer but was curious what is the standard clearance for utility transformers? Is it up to the utility company or is there an overall standard?

This will be up to the POCO. Some can be real strict on things like this.

I figured. I have reached out to them multiple times to confirm the information but keep getting bounced to their construction department's voicemail.

And be wary of any underground easements they have where you are proposing to put things.
