What is this?

Need help on this device. Could not read anything on the device except that it could explode and injure someone. Great picture on one of them.

This device is connected with a black wire to 2 different breakers. (double tapped and 2 different material) Nothing leaving the device except this.

I was trying to get some info on this if anyone has seen these before.

Thanks for such a quick reply.

Is it ok to be double tapped with copper wires under the same breaker connection?

The wiring from the arresters do not appear to be copper and are multi strand. Is this similar to have the doorbell double tapped?

The wires from the arrester are probably tin plated copper.

The terminal on the breaker would have to be rated for two conductors.
