We are currently working on an apartment complex and some of the buildings are beginning to get flooring.

What do y'all use for boot covers to keep the carpet clean and where do you buy them?

I buy the cheap ones from Sunstar Lighting. Cheap blue cloth type. Fit over any size boot or shoe. An HVAC contractor here uses some plastic ones. Not sure where they get them from though.

Just cheap ones from Lowe's paint department.

I'll check them out tomorrow.

I tried to get on their website but they want 2 invoices, whatever that means. :dunce:

We have used several different types and brands.
The Condor, Dupont and Sunrise have performed well. Some last longer than others.

Which did you prefer?
Do they all fit big feet?

it depends how much you want to spend, also do you need them just for one project or you always wear one when going to homes?

Try shubee.com

ask them to send you samples.

I just purchased the red plastic kind. It is nice and large and easily goes ON and comes OFF of size 13 work boot.

They have a pair that is made of tyvek material for heavy use, they have one called armadillo and has rubber grip underneath, they have one that is water proof.

Thanks, everyone.

I went with the ShuBee SuperBee Shoe Covers Dark Blue, they have them on clearance sale and I could buy them thru Amazon, which saved a little on shipping cost, not much.

We will see how they work.

before you do the purchase from amazon ask shubee to send you some free samples. The first order that I had received did not fit my shoe size 13 eventhough on the website it said it would fit sizes up to 18.
They took them back sent me some samples the 2nd time around.

I don't remember which brand I have but they're non-slip (very important on hardwood or polished floors) and damp proof - wet boots won't soak through them for a pretty long time. Some of the cheap ones are so slippery you might as well be wearing silicone impregnated socks on a hockey rink.
