what section should i post questions about tools?

I wanted to know if anyone uses a cable stapler when roughing out a house, i noticed it takes a nice amount of time to staple the wires, just wondering if maybe greenlee of klien might make anything?

I got one at Big Orange made by Powerfast. Works ok especially when you are trying to balance on ceiling joists. I have big hands and it's all I can do to grip the handle and depress the lever,it opens up about four inches. Don't see how a smaller guy could do it.

What is the world coming to when we need a stapler for romex?

I am a complete gadget freak but never saw the need for romex staplers.
I have a lo-vo T-25 type stapler I got at my supply house. The same brand offers a rx stapler. No way I'd ever use it. Staples not much thicker than T-50 staples. No effort at all to pull them out.
The one in the pic above looks nice but way big and I'll bet $$$$$.

I'm with Hurk, progress. There are a lot of new tools and it makes our work a lot easier. I bet one day drills will be out and lasers will be the way to go.

Pierre,There have been many times over the years that I would have loved somthing like a laser to drill with especially when a Milwalkee hole hog and a ship auger digs into a group of nails and your not ready for it OUCH !!!!!!!!

ed, thanks for the info, thats just what i was looking for =)

and yes, lasers would be nice, im sick of getting little wood pieces in my hair when driling in the cieling.

I know, I know. I love tools and gagets and probably have two of almost everything.
I guess it's just my aversion to RX staplers.
