What size tugger?

I was looking for a tugger and it in dawned on me that I'm not really sure what size we should get. They are rated as 3,000lbs, 4,000 lbs, etc. I want to pull say 4 500s on a 100 foot pull with 2 90s. I have no idea how many pounds of pull I would need. I'd like to get one of the 3,000 pound models I saw due to the easy configuration and transport, but I don't want to do that if it won't handle the job. Any thoughts on how to determin that?
