Hi all,

Just wanted to ask a quick question as what would be the correct, or at least more professional, way to mount these type of led flood lights to an electrical box (pictures below)? They don't have a rectangular or circular base, and only have the wires coming out. I was thinking of possibly a simple surface mount box. Any objections to this? Thanks

Those are cheap junk but regardless they do not mount to an electrical box. They mount to a wall, ceiling, post etc and you run the cord into an electrical box.

It looks like the proper way is outside the NEC jurisdictions. They don't seem to be UL listed.

Definitely not UL listed for the price. Haha.
No worries, not installing or even selling these to anyone. Personal use.

Sorry did not finish reading all the forum rules. Appears to me that all questions should be in accordance with NEC. If a mod can please delete this thread.
