southern california, complete demo and rewire of outdoor patio and pool equipment, reusing existing GRC in the ground. Conduits corroded and have poor bends making pulling a nightmare. Boxes have screws broken off in them so extension rings must be installed to give receptacles a place to attach to. Material cost is around $800.
-install new subpanel with main breaker, 2 pole breaker for pool pump, 4 single pole for lighting and receptacles. Feed to main is 40' through existing 3/4" emt, needs new LB and 4' of 3/4 emt to connect to new panel
-connect existing 1/2" and 3/4" GRC into new subpanel.
-install GFI recep in new bell box w/ bubble cvr directly below panel
-pull ~150' x 6 #12 through 3/4 makes 2 stops before reaching pool equipment
-pull ~100' x 4 #12 through 1/2" through 5 receptacle boxes
-install 3 GFI recep with ext ring on box and bubble cover
-install new time for pool pump, and new sealtite from timer to pump. pump must be removed for access to the junction box on the pump and then replaced.
All of the conduits and boxes are corroded to some degree, the holes in the boxes must be chased with a tap to be able to get a screw in. Difficult working conditions, all overgrown with trees and other plans, most of which have thorns on them.
The guy who did this project has 21 hours into it.
Id like to hear what you guys would have charged.
