I was on a large new multifamily construction site the other day and whatever temp power company they used has this stuff that looked like that teck cable from canada, or pvc jacketed MC but black, hardwired between the temp services and various distribution panels. I couldn't tell if the metal armor was convoluted or a MC style spiral wrap. Pretty sure it was aluminum conductors, it was pretty big. It was not a cord product, but some sort of jacketed armored cable. Anyone know what this stuff is?
What's the black jacketed armored cable temp power cos are using on construction sites?

I agree, sounds like PVC jacketed MC cable. Pretty common in wet locations for temp wiring.
