In square D brochure of changes to 2011 nec I saw this and can't figure out what it is all about.
I thought that service disconnects have to be grouped and closest to service entrance.

I think that they are implying that the interior disconnects in each unit are in fact the service disconnects and what we have is several services feeding one building rather than one service entrance with multiple service conductor sets.
I have not compared that area of [2014] to [2011].
