Section V of Art 250 gives many of the bonding requirements.

The most common uses are probably found in 250.92 from bonding metallic service raceways and 250.97 for bonding over 250 v.

In retrospect, one thing I realized, is that the "properly bonded on other end" decision assumes that you are running a wire EGC. I specify wire EGC's all the time, so it didn't occur to me that one might not do so. Of course, if you rely on the raceway to be the EGC, it has to be bonded by approved means to both the origin and destination, while maintaining the electrical continuity throughout the length.
