Remodeling a bathroom. Has a existing 15amp circuit. Needed to move receptacle, but can I still use the existing 15amp circuit, or do I have to know pull a new 20amp dedicated circuit? Also if there is any other scenario's you may know of? Thank you for your help.

If you "don't touch it" you can leave it.
After all it was there and you didn't touch it.
If you improve it - well then it's time to make it code compliant.

Now if the old two wire recpt in the Ba needs to be replaced
I would say that you could and should use a gfi for replacement.
That would be an improvement that
no one would really fault you
for not giving homeowner the hardship
to run that new wire back to the main
Unless he had an orange glass fuse in the Fusebox on the Ba ct

Sequence of operations
Personall safety
Preserve property
Code compliance
Save money / convenience tie for last
