You can download an online version of the NEC 2005 from the NFPA website if you are a member, otherwise you will need to purchase a copy.

I would assume that you can pay a non-member price for the PDF file (that may be a bad assumption). The real electronic version should be available on CD-ROM with Folio by now.

The handbook will be available Feb. 5, and the cost is around $170 or so.
