Hey guys, ive got a Kohler 2000A transfer switch. I has this energy analyzer in it, see photo. It has three CTs wired to this energy analyzer. Would those go on the load terminals? The switch on the right changes the voltage terminals, there's only one set of CTs.

I agree load side. Then the meter will function normally on either utility or generator power.

I guess it could depend on what you want to know, and the functionality of the thing.
I was about to mention this... most folks will only care about the load side of things because that's what's actually passing through the switch.. BUT.... there could be times when you want to know just how much power came from one source versus another. Prime example is the ESG calculations a number of our larger customers are beginning to ask for... a kWh that comes from utility sources will have a different CO2 cost than a kWh sourced from our backup generators.
