where is the code for NM connectors???

where in the code does it specify you must use a fitting listed as an NM cable connector?

the article on NM has a section for boxes and fittings, but nowhere describes fittings. only thing i could find relevant to what i need is in 400.10 for cables and cords. but i need it for NM

you know i read that at least 20 times today and never caught those words. got called to do an inspection today behind another EC after other tradespeople noted their concerns about what they were seeing to the building owner. i've got about three pages of violations so far. this job was permitted, inspected, and passed. i'll post a few of the many pics when i get a chance. i've cited 300.15(A) repeatedly on this report. thanks for the help. brain is a little fried right now.
